The Leonard Family and Staff of the Refuge Inn are proud to announce the installation and availability of two electric car charging stations!
One Tesla Charger and one universal charger are now available to use at the Refuge Inn. These chargers are the only ones publicly available on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, and make Chincoteague an excellent stop for any electric car owner’s East Coast roadtrip or beach vacation.
Please alert the Front Desk if you’ve made a reservation at the hotel and need to use the charger–We’ll be glad to reserve the spot for you on your arrival date. Visitors not staying with us are also welcome to use the Tesla Charger—please stop in at the front desk to register your vehicle before connecting to the charger.
