Yard Sales, Craft Sales, and Antique Markets!
Shop for unique vintage and antique finds at Rusty Rooster’s Spring Fling Antique Market on May 27 from 7 p.m. until 5 p.m. Vendors will be available both inside and outside, and a food truck will be onsite for breakfast and lunch. The Rusty Rooster Antique Mall is a one stop shop for antique, primitives, vintage items, collectibles, decoys, nautical, and more. They are located in Westover, Maryland, which is a short drive North from Chincoteague.
On the island, visitors can enjoy yard sales all over the island on Friday and Saturday mornings, as well as the Memorial Day Craft and Yard Sale at Tom’s Cove Park. This event is held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 27. The campground will host multiple vendors selling craft and yard sale items. Boat Tours
Take a short trip to Onancock for Memorial Weekend Paddling on the Water! The weekend begins with Sunshine & Margaritas from 5:30- 8:30 p.m. and Music on the Lawn at Ker Place. On Saturday and Sunday, water lovers can book SUP lessons or full-day barrier island trips. Kayak, SUP, and bike rentals will be available all weekend. On Monday, participate in a Fun Paddle during Harbor Jam from 3-7 p.m. Music on the Water will be provided by Mallards. This event is free with your own kayak or SUP, and they are $20 to rent. On the island, prepare yourself for the magic of a Strawberry Moon Cruise! Bottoms Up Tiki Tours and Mark Mrohs are offering a nighttime cruise with glow sticks, glow jewelry, and flowers. Participants will also enjoy full moon themed beverages and DJ curated dance tracks. Their 40-foot tiki boat is designed for 20 passengers, and this 3 hour tour is only $50 per person.
