Carol Sue Winder started working at the Refuge Motor Inn in 1985, after becoming friends with Martha Leonard. Twenty-nine years later, at the end of her last year here at the Refuge, fellow staff members, owners, and family gathered for a dinner to thank Carol Sue for her steadfast dedication and loyalty during her tenure. It just won’t be the same without seeing her smiling face every day, but she has promised to drop by to say hello from time to time!
